About Lorovea
We started Lorovea because comparing two moisturisers should not require a chemistry degree. Most of the industry sells a feeling and hides the formula behind a phrase like “advanced complex”. We would rather show you the numbers and let you decide for yourself.
What we make
Three ranges, deliberately small. Skincare for the face, supplements for daily health, and hair and body care held to the same standard. Fourteen products in total. We add one only when we cannot explain why the existing range does not already cover it.
How we decide what goes in
Every product has to clear three things before we will make it.
- The active has published evidence behind it. Not a supplier’s brochure or a trend, but research we can point to.
- It is dosed at the level that research used. A famous ingredient at a fraction of its effective concentration is decoration, not formulation.
- The concentration goes on the front of the box. If we are confident in a formula, hiding the numbers makes no sense.
What we leave out
No fragrance, anywhere in the range — including essential oils. They are among the most common causes of contact reactions and they do nothing for your skin. No proprietary blends that hide individual amounts behind a total. No ingredients added purely to lengthen a list.
What we will not claim
Skincare is not medicine, and neither are supplements. We can tell you what is in a formula, at what concentration, and what the research says about it. We cannot promise it will work for you, and we would be wary of anyone who does.
That is why returns run to sixty days, opened or unopened. If a formula did not suit your skin, that still counts.
